Marietta Gkouverou is a Medically Assisted Reproduction Midwife, certified by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), with almost 10 years of experience in IVF on a wide range of treatments.

She joined Embryolab’s Midwifery Team in 2016, supporting clinical operations and guiding patients worldwide & remotely in Greek, English and Italian with approximately 800 cycles per year.

Marietta is a native speaker in English, Greek and Italian.

She gained her BSc degree with excellence. In 2015, she trained in First Aid for Adults, Pregnant Women, Children and Infants with international certification and in 2018 she joined the Greek Red Cross Volunteer Rescuers – Samaritan Corp of the Hellenic Red Cross, completing the multi-month training with knowledge of the Automatic Defibrillator, triage screening and active volunteering actions.

Since 2023, she joined Embryolab’s International Department and she works dedicatedly as an International IVF Coordinator for the preparation and care of the patients she guides, through her experience in predicting and adapting the phases of treatment accurately.

She is an advocate of the human-centered approach to IVF treatments, knowing that a smooth treatment experience will contribute positively to the exploration of the fertility horizon and the outcome.

Attending conferences constantly in the content of obstetrics and gynecology, new guidelines and research.
