Assisted Reproduction is a fascinating and extremely powerful scientific field. Very few other fields are known for their dynamic evolvement and impact in society and in so many lives.

From its early days this restless scientific frontier embraced many other disciplines recognizing early on that only through collaboration with other disciplines and expansion of its scientific horizons it would be possible to unravel the mysteries and marvels of human live in its early stages.

Despite its relative brief existence, assisted reproduction has risen to meet many of the current pressing needs of our society; as alarming data predicts a declining fertility for the human race and a gradual surge in the number of individuals turning to assisted reproduction for help.

Concurrently, we have welcomed many scientific and technological developments that entered our field and have transformed our daily practices. This marked the rise of the Next Generation IVF era!

In this new era conquering the unknown to further advance the efficiency of our diagnostic and treatment options for the benefit of our patients are not the only prerequisites. New needs and challenges have emerged as a result of this transformation such as:

  • Recruitment and training of the personnel
  • Leadership
  • Change Management
  • Risk Management
  • Cybersecurity

A Vision

Embryolab Academy was founded back in 2013 when its founders foresaw and felt the need for training and total quality management in this new era. Throughout our remarkable 10-year journey our primary operational pillars were:

  • Training and then training some more. This is the only way to advance our skills and practices.
  • Evidence-Based Quality. The Quality culture needs to be embedded in the next Gen IVF units to ensure optimized and standardized processes.
  • Prevention over Correction. Embracing the risk management values as the only way to safeguard our systems and patients.
  • Knowledge Empowerment: Knowledge sharing among scientists’ and exchanging ideas is the best way to promote collaboration and research.
