Η Μάρθα Μωυσίδου, είναι Βιολόγος (BSc), με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην ανθρώπινη αναπαραγωγή από το Imperial College του Λονδίνου (MSc with Distinction). Πήρε την εξειδίκευση της εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης στο Hammersmith Hospital του Λονδίνου, υπό την επίβλεψη του Professor Robert Winston.
Είναι κλινικός εμβρυολόγος από το 2000, με πιστοποίηση Senior Clinical Embryologist από την ESHRE (European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology), και έχει εργαστηριακή εμπειρία που ξεπερνά τους 20.000 κύκλους εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης.
Το επιστημονικό της ενδιαφέρον εστιάζεται στην αντιμετώπιση της ανδρικής υπογονιμότητας όλων των βαθμίδων (από ήπια μέχρι πολύ σοβαρή). Στην επαγγελματική της καθημερινότητα ασχολείται κυρίως με τον συντονισμό θεραπείας των υπογόνιμων ζευγαριών ή ζευγαριών που διατρέχουν κίνδυνο μετάδοσης γενετικής νόσου ή χρωμοσωμικής διαταραχής στις επόμενες γενιές (προεμφυτευτικός γενετικός έλεγχος).
Παράπλευρα, και με αμείωτο ενδιαφέρον στο βασικό της αντικείμενο, παρακολούθησε και πήρε την πιστοποίηση του Risk Manager από τον PMI (Project Management Institute) των Η.Π.Α., με στόχο να εξυπηρετήσει μια αρτιότερη διαχείριση ποιότητας μέσα στο εργαστήριο.
Είναι μέλος της ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology), της ΠΕΚΕ (Πανελλήνιας Ένωσης Κλινικών Εμβρυολόγων) και της ARCS (Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists) της Μ. Βρετανίας.
Είναι ενεργό μέλος του Embryolab Academy, από την ίδρυσή του, μια πρωτοβουλία της Embryolab με στόχο την μεταλαμπάδευση της γνώσης στους νεότερους επιστήμονες του χώρου, σε όλον τον κόσμο!
Είναι κόρη, αδερφή, σύζυγος, μητέρα, νονά και πιστή φίλη! Αγαπά πολύ το αντικείμενο της δουλειάς της, πιστεύει στη δύναμη της ομάδας και δίνει καθημερινά τον καλύτερο εαυτό της για τα ζευγάρια που εμπιστεύονται ττην Embryolab στο πολύτιμο αγώνα τους για την απόκτηση παιδιού!
