PhD, MSc, PMI-RMP

Sr. Clinical Embryologist, ESHRE certified

Theodora Pavlidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She is a graduate of the Department of Biology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with postgraduate training in Medicine and Reproductive Biology in Padua, Italy. In 2012, she completed her PhD thesis at the Stem Cell Biology Laboratory of the Tor Vergata University of Rome, with a main focus on the isolation of stem cells and the investigation of their applications in regenerative medicine.

Since 2016, she has worked as a Clinical Embryologist in Assisted Reproduction units in Greece and Albania, gaining significant experience in the full range of laboratory techniques of modern embryology, as well as in the management of complex infertility cases.

In 2023, she was certified by ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) as a Senior Clinical Embryologist. In 2024, she obtained the Risk Manager certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the United States, further strengthening her expertise in risk management in complex scientific and clinical environments.

She is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), in whose conferences she actively participates with publications and oral presentations.

She remains committed to continuous education and to the adoption of innovative approaches that contribute to the improvement of clinical outcomes. Based on the needs of each couple, she believes that the embryologist’s acumen and attention to detail can play a decisive role in achieving the best possible outcome.
